We had a great 4th of July. The morning started out with a parade in Bob and Sara's neighborhood. The kids decorated their scooters and had a blast. This was our first year at the parade and we hope to make it a yearly tradition. Thank you Bob and Sara for inviting us! The photo above was taken by Michelle Lasch....thank you!
After the parade we decided to relax in my mom's jacuzzi. It's not very relaxing when you have a 6 and 8 year old jumping all over the place.
Rene's friend lives right behind Cerritos High School and has a great view of their firework show. His family lives in a culdesac and they blocked it off and had a block party. The neighbors rented a huge bouncer/obstacle course.
There was so much food! They even had a neighbor from India who cooked some Indian food. I'm still not ready for curry, but Rene had some. Matthew and Justin enjoyed the cotton candy.
